I will do a little maintenance on the server one of these days. If the forum is down, you know why!

Having not seen this message, no, I did not. :o I was already worried the whole forum had been taken down. Thankfully that was not the case... :)

I hope you will have energy and desire to provide this service for us in the future. You have done a good job bringing retro hackers together! :D

Ok, the Forum should be back on its feet again after going thru some maintenance and updating. I had to do some manual patching of phpBB so if the Forum is freaking out somewhere let me know. I was very tired

@FMan: Thanks for the apreciation! It's very much apreciated :D

Yeah, Rethrohackers is a nice and unique community.
I hope you will keep it going for a long time, Rave. Thanx.

No news about the DNS problem?

Thanks! As long as people keep posting Retrohackers will be around :)

The status of the DNS is that the .org name is now being held by some chinese registrar which is exploiting some probably-bogus auction system that I wouldn't even touch with a 10 foot pole while wearing an austronaut suit.

Anyway, I hold the .com address which has been payed for another 24 months in advance (half of which was originally deposited for the .org address but which Loopia failed to acknowledge), so at least that one's safe for now
