FMan celebrates the first day of Spring with the release of MMC Replay Monitor! You can download this and other programs for Jens-hardware at http://www.fooman.fi/computers/loader.php?doc=Jens or from my archive mydarkgothvampiricplace.endoftheinternet.org/pub/Commodore/C64-utils/ via either the HTTP or FTP protocol. You can also now find a complete Funet CBM mirror there under /pub/Funet.

I guess the most important thing is to talk about yourself in third person, but perhaps you could also tell a bit about what the tool does?

Well, I was trying to follow up on the lines of "Seasons Greetings from Individual Computers", but apparently it didn't work. I did realize myself that I completely forgot to say anything about what the program does, but I then thought it would be obvious from the title and the screenshot. Also, a description is one click away on my website. It prints bytes from the MMC Replay's memories. You are allowed to opt out at this point if you so choose.

This utility seems even less useful than anything else. :?

Thanks, Ulf. 8)

I have made some fixes to my Retro Replay ROM and as a result v2.7 is out. Everything should work better now, but there are still problems with loading from RR RAM, and this will be tackled in the next version. :?

In case you are unfamiliar with my 32K utility ROM, it is the perfect pack for a swapper - containing a file copier, disk copier and a sector editor. I finally removed the intro from the latter and repacked both.

Also, instead of the tampered one, the disk copier is now the original release. This one I decided to include unpacked. More importantly, the loading bug is fixed and the directory lister was changed to a working one. :)

I have finished an intermediary version of the MMC Replay Monitor, which adds a few new planned features and fixes some bugs in the first version. You can get the release for testing below.

The cartridge identification procedure has been changed so that MMC Replay is placed in native mode first. Contrary to normal practice, the development version comes with full source as well.

DOWNLOAD MMC/RETRO REPLAY MONITOR V1.2

Please report your findings about the program's behavior.
