Once again harddisk failure strikes the retrohackers server and after painstaking salvage the server is somewhat functional again, although the server will be down again because I've decided to replace the current system disk with a RAID configuration which will allow more or less non-interruptable service in case of (heavens forbid it) another harddisk failure.

Yours truly.

New disks will arrive today hopefully. This means the server will be down while I'm configuring the new disks and, while i'm at it, upgrading to FreeBSD 7.

Wish me good luck

New fresh disks installed with RAID1 configuration and FreeBSD 7.0 spinning on the platters. If only the rest of the HW holds together, this baby should keep on running for a while! :)
