Commodore 8bit Search http://cbm8bit.com/search

Were primary a Commodore 8bit files search site with some interesting features like the ability of sharing files without opening your network to mirroring, hot-linking etc Great for sharing your local network files on a dsl connection using a password protected FTP account.

The search actively monitors the servers indexed to reduce dead links, i use this feature to keep track of the commodore 64 web server so when it goes down the search sends out an email! it's checked every 15 minutes but most sites are checked every four hours or so.

Searching can be by part file-name on the home page or by using http://cbm8bit.com/search?advanced=1 menu by file-name, directory or by site only. This is a fast method to find a file on the Bombjack FTP site for instance. http://cbm8bit.com/search?advanced=1&qu ... ed&servers[]=15

A small search html form can be added to a web site of your favorite FTP using the search html snippet attached here.
