I just got my RR over the mail..

Havn't had time to play with it really, just tested some multi-file and multi-disk stuff and it did seem to work..
I hope I find the time to play with it some more this weekend (and possibly generate detailed bugreports)..

Have played with it a lot..
I'd love to see either this plugin or the fast writer plugin using a different key though..
If I had them both in one SYSTEM64 that would be wonderfull..

Great work !!

hi tnt i was just wondering about what you said in line of copy protected games. i don't know if you can come up with an code decoder with in the d64 mounter. This would removed the codes in the game before it loaded in to memory.
cheers paul

TNT,

Fantastic work on this project, I Just received my RR today, a nice addition to my MMC64 I got a while back.

The first thing I tried was contiki, and using your D64 plugin it worked 100%, couldn't believe it, I thought I would be stuck with single load only stuff but this really opens unlimited potential. Great work and please keep it up!!!

I look forward to every future release.

Oh and this is my FP so Hi to everyone on the boards!

Cheers
Jamie

I had an impression that Contiki used fast loader, but apparently I was wrong. I'm glad to be wrong this time :). It would be interesting to know if RRnet also works.

Hm. never tried, but:
I made it to load Contiki from 64HDD. so the d64 mount-plugin should work also. I'll try it asap

I think it did use a fastloader at one point, but that was disabled (along with mouse support) as it caused problems.

hey tnt,
superb plugin.
is it possible to use both d64 plugins at once?
your d64 mount plugin and the d64 writer plugin from kratznagel?

Kratznagel has some plans for that IIRC. I think the most generic solution (sans BIOS support) would be dummy plugin which searches SYSTEM64/ for XXXplgin.bi1, XXXplgin.bi2 etc and allows user to select which plugin to use if there are more than one. That way the same program can be used for other file types too.

ACK: Contiki works with d64mount plugin!
It loads fast and seems to work without problems, BUT

use a preconfigured Version (because you cant save the config file)

well,
I have to correct my statement a bit:
after using a already configured version, contiki fails after loading the rrnet.drv :(
I tried several configurations: rrnet on the mmc and on the RR

will do some additional testing with dfi-plugin and contiki,
